Wolverines Take First Set in Loss to UNOH

LIMA, Ohio – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team took an early lead against the University of Northwestern Ohio 25-22 before dropping three straight (17-25, 13-25, 17-25) in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday in Lima, Ohio.

UM-Dearborn falls to 3-13 overall and 0-7 in the WHAC with the loss.

Erin Parrinello got the set-winning kill in the first, highlighting a 13-kill match for the senior, leading the Wolverines. Bronte Michura added 11 kills and Katherine Nealy finished with eight. Daniella Barile and Sabrina Giacomini recorded 20 and 15 assists, respectively.

UM-Dearborn got 20 digs from Caitlyn Carlson, who ranks second in the WHAC with 5.1 digs per set.

The Wolverines return to action Wednesday as they host Aquinas College in a WHAC matchup at 7 pm Wednesday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
