Volleyball drops match in three to Warriors

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team hosted Indiana Tech in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup on Friday in the first game of a back-to-back to close out the home regular-season schedule.

UM-Dearborn was defeated in three sets, dropping to 5-19 overall and 2-13 in the WHAC. The set scores were 25-22, 25-10, 25-12.

Leading the way offensively for the Wolverines was Erin Parrinello with six kills while Bronte Michura, Mackenzie Fuleky, Mackenzie Zook and Gina Giacomini each added four. On defense, Katherine Nealy added a block assist, bringing her season total to 22.

The Wolverines will close out their home schedule and honor four senior student-athletes when they play host to the University of Northwestern Ohio at 1 pm Saturday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
