Wolverines Conclude Season Against No. 22 Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (6-10-3, 4-5-2) men's soccer team concluded their season with a loss in the WHAC Tournament Quarterfinals against the No. 22 Indiana Tech (11-2-5, 8-1-2). 

 

Lucca Motta got the Warriors on the board early, scoring an unassisted goal in the 19th minute. Four minutes later, the Wolverines would equalize when they were taken down in the box and awarded a spot kick. Andrew Schwartz stepped up to the spot and slotted home the goal. Just 47 seconds later, the Warriors would regain the lead after Motta scored his second goal of the half. The scoreline would remain 2-1 Warriors heading into the break. 

 

Dearborn could not narrow the deficit in the second half before Tech scored their third and final goal in the 61st minute.  

 

Ahmed Salman and Nicolas Pulcini played all 90 minutes for the Wolverines in the 3-1 loss.
