FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (5-8-3, 3-4-2) men's soccer team went up against No. 17 Indiana Tech (9-1-5, 7-0-2) on Saturday (Oct. 22). Dearborn held their own against one of the top teams in the country and left with a point after a 1-1 draw.

The Wolverines outshot the Warriors in the first 45 minutes. However, Tech went into the locker room with the lead after their 34th-minute goal.

The Wolverines would strike 49 seconds into the second half after Nicolas Pulcini scored an unassisted goal to equalize the contest. The final 44 minutes saw the Maize & Blue facing a barrage of shots from the Warriors, but Elijah Burlak continued his run of form as he made six crucial saves in the second half to keep the game tied at one.

Matthew Sommer and Pulcini played all 90 minutes for the Wolverines and were critical factors in preserving the draw.
