HOWELL, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team (2-8-2, 0-4-1) conceded a goal in the 89th minute against the Cleary Cougars (3-5-4, 1-2-2) to play to a 1-1 draw on Saturday (Oct. 8) inside Lake Trust Stadium.

Josiah Yoder scored the lone goal for the Wolverines in the 41st minute after the Maize & Blue released a barrage of shots on the Cougar goalie. The Wolverines outshot the Cougars 8-7 in the first half. However, only three of those shots were on goal.

The Wolverines held the 1-0 for 48 minutes thanks to a crucial save by Elijah Burlak in the 58th minute. With 1:41 remaining on the clock, the Cougars were taken down inside the penalty area, and the referee awarded a penalty kick. Lesman Morazan converted the PK and tied the contest at one. Neither teams were able to create a scoring chance, and the game ended with the points being shared by both teams.
