Wolverines Drop Non-Conference Matchup Against Wayne State (Mich.)

DETROIT, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (1-12) men's basketball took on NCAA Division II foe Wayne State (Mich.) (3-4) in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday (Dec. 6). The Warriors controlled the contest taking the victory 93-41. 

 

Michigan-Dearborn Leaders

Maurice Anderson led the Wolverines with 11 points. Jimmy Breaux had a game-high 14 rebounds. Breaux added four steals and five blocks and chipped in eight points. Vyshonn Munson was perfect from behind the arc as he connected on both of his three-point attempts. 

 

Wayne State (Mich.) Leaders 

Carmelo Harris had a game-high 19 points for the Warriors on 8-of-12 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from behind the arc. Kylin Grant scored 13 points off the bench in 11 minutes, connecting on five of his eight shots. Avery Lewis recorded a double-double scoring 10 points and hauling in 12 rebounds off the bench. Ray Williams rounded out the scoring for the Warriors scoring 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting.
