DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team returned to action Friday afternoon, playing host to the Concordia University Cardinals in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-up.
The Wolverines would take the first two sets and bounce back in the fourth, earning the win over the Cardinals 25-23,25-12,20-25,25-23.
The win moves the Wolverines to 8-19 overall and 5-10 in the WHAC.
Leading the Wolverines was Kristin Maust with 13 kills, while Brooke Wetherill would add nine of her own. Sabrina Giacomini repeated this past Wednesday effort, tying her career-high with 41 assists, while Kenzie Mertz with 22 digs.
Concordia University was led by Kayla Peters with 11 kills, while Abagail Austin recorded 40 assists and McKenzie Peters added a game-high 25 digs.
UM-Dearborn will return to action against Cornerstone at 7pm Wednesday, October 27th, at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse in Dearborn, Mich.
