LTU tops UM-Dearborn men 3-1
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men’s soccer team suffered its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference loss of the season, falling to Lawrence Tech on the road Wednesday in Southfield, Mich.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team suffered its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference loss of the season, falling to Lawrence Tech on the road Wednesday in Southfield, Mich.
The Wolverines trailed 2-0 at the half but cut the Blue Devil lead to one 16 minutes after the break. LTU responded with an insurance goal just over two minutes later and held on for a 3-1 win.
The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 2-4-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the WHAC.
Austin Dukes got the goal for the Wolverines in the 62nd minute, his second of the season. Brian Ostapenko made nine saves in net for UM-Dearborn.
The Wolverines were outshot 24-4, while LTU held the advantage in corners 8-2.
UM-Dearborn returns home to take on Cleary University in a WHAC contest at 3 pm Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.
