Aquinas tops UM-Dearborn women in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team fell to Aquinas College in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Wednesday at Aquinas Athletic Field in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Saints (RV) scored five goals in the first half and added two more in the second for a 7-0 victory. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 1-9-0 overall and 0-6-0 in the WHAC.

Hannah Crum and Madison Mohr lead the way offensively for Aquinas, both scoring two goals in the game.

Jordan Anheuser made 14 saves in the loss for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines were outshot 33-6, while Aquinas had the advantage in corner kicks, 6-1.

UM-Dearborn continues WHAC play against Madonna University at noon on Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.
