Crusaders blank Wolverines 4-0

RIVERVIEW, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team continued to struggle on offense in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest against Madonna University Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.

The Wolverines were held off the scoreboard for a sixth consecutive game, falling to the Crusaders 4-0 to drop to 1-10-0 overall and 0-7-0 in the WHAC.

Jordan Anheuser played a strong game in net, stopping 14 shots for the Wolverines, who were outshot 35-3. Gabriella Teems recorded two shots on goal for the Wolverines.

Grace Thomas led the Crusaders with a goal and an assist.

The Wolverines remain home to host Cornerstone University at 6 pm Wednesday at Gabriel Richard High School.
