Cleary tops UM-Dearborn women 3-0

RIVERVIEW, Mich.  – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team continued Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play against Cleary University Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.

The Wolverines were held off the scoreboard and allowed three Cougar goals in the second half, falling 3-0. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 1-6-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the WHAC.

The Wolverines had several chances to find the net, with Jenna Rogers recording four shots and Gabriella Teems taking three, but Cleary goalkeeper Kara Donaldson made five saves to earn the shutout.

UM-Dearborn goalkeeper Jordan Anheuser made six saves in the loss.

The Wolverines return to action against Siena Heights University at 7 pm Wednesday in Adrian, Mich.
