Michigan Takes the Win in Overtime

Grand Rapids, MI- Michigan Dearborn's Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Grand Rapids this past weekend to take on Aquinas College.

Each quarter the Wolverines managed to put 6 or more shots on goal for a total of 29 shots. Out of the 29 shots, Michigan scored on 10 of them to give the Wolverines the win. The game went into overtime making the final shots the most important. Michigan was able to find the back of the net for the victory over Aquinas.

Ruben Cabello led Michigan with 3 goals and 2 assists. David Stephanoff saved 14 shots giving him a .609 save percentage. Dylan Hatcher, Donald Roda and Mitchell Stapleton each contributed 2 goals to help lead the Wolverines to an OT win.

The men's lacrosse team will compete tomorrow, April 15 against Lawrence Tech at 1:00pm in Beverly Hills, MI.
