Wolverines fall to No. 22 Warriors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team dropped a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup to No. 22 Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Wolverines trailed by four at the half before the Warriors took control after the break, defeating UM-Dearborn 74-58. The Wolverines fall to 8-17 overall and 6-10 in the WHAC.

Leading the way offensively for UM-Dearborn was Xavier Crofford, finishing with a double-double, including 16 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Lattimer added 13 points, while Mafiaion Joyner came off the bench to add 12 points.

The Wolverines recorded eight assists and seven turnovers. Both the Warriors and UM-Dearborn finished with 38 rebounds.

Dylan Phair led Indiana Tech with 15 points.

The Wolverines continue WHAC play against Cornerstone University at 8 pm on Wednesday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
