Wolverines Drop Regular Season Finale Against Lourdes

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (3-8-3, 2-7-2) women's soccer team concluded the regular season on Saturday (Oct. 29) against Lourdes University (8-4-4, 2-7-2). The Grey Wolves won the contest 2-0.

 

The Wolverines outshot the Grey Wolves 5-2 in the first 45 minutes. However, neither team could push a ball across the goal line as the game remained tied heading into the break. 

 

The Grey Wolves took control of the game in the second half, scoring both goals within 10 minutes to put the game out of reach. 

 

Amelia Strochine played all 90 minutes in net and made four saves.
