DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-7-2, 1-6-1) women's soccer team conceded two first-half goals, which proved to be the deciding factor in a 2-1 defeat against the Rochester Warriors (7-5-2, 3-4-1) on Wednesday (Oct. 19).

The Warriors first-half goals came just 10 minutes apart from each other as the Warriors scored in both the 10th and 20th minute. The Wolverines were only able to muster two shots in the first 45, with only one making it to the hands of the Warrior goalkeeper.

Trailing 2-0, the Wolverines were able to trim the lead to one when Emmi Pinkowski and Olivia McKellar linked up for their 49th-minute goal. Dearborn put two more shots on frame in the second half, but the Warriors were able to handle both and take the contest 2-1.
