FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (3-7-2, 2-6-1) women's soccer team pick up three massive points on Saturday (Oct. 22) on the road against Indiana Tech (4-8-3, 2-5-2). Gabriella Teems scored the lone goal for the Wolverines in a 1-0 victory.
Looking to impact the game early on the road. The Wolverines wasted no time getting on the scoresheet. Teems showed her veteran leadership in a challenging road environment and scored the game's only goal in the 20th minute.
Amelia Strochine kept the Wolverine lead as she made six saves in a crucial clean sheet, keeping the Maize & Blue in contention for the WHAC tournament.
