SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-5-2, 1-4-1) women's soccer team traveled across town to face off against rival Lawrence Tech (3-3-5, 2-0-4) on Wednesday (Oct. 12). The Blue Devils overpowered the Wolverines en route to a 5-1 victory.
The Blue Devils proved to be a top side in the first half when they scored consecutive goals in 22 seconds. LTU improved on that lead as they added one more before the half to take a 3-0 lead.
Juju Kleit scored the lone Wolverine goal off of a free kick in the 57th minute. Kleit tucked the ball into the top left corner leaving the Blue Devil keeper not shot at a save.
LTU would add two more goals in the second-half to give the Blue Devils the 5-1 victory.
