JACKSON, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams wrapped up competition at the WHAC Championships on Saturday (Feb. 22) at Jax 60. Each team had three sets of five games in the Baker series, where the Wolverines men's team would finish ninth out of 11 while the women's team finished 11th out of 11.
The men's team edged out Lourdes College by 21 pins after rolling a 214 in their final game. The Wolverines were just behind Rochester Christian University, which had 2,936 pins. The women's team finished the competition with a total of 1,969 pins. Neither team would qualify for bracket play. In the men's competition, St. Francis would beat Lawrence Tech in the championship to earn their first WHAC Tournament Championship. On the women's side, Lawrence Tech defeated Indiana Tech in a decisive seventh game to win their third overall and first since 2022.
