JACKSON, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams wrapped up competition at AHBA #5 on Saturday (Jan. 11th). The men's team took home a seventh-place finish, while the women's team took 14th.
Avery North led all Wolverine competitors as he took home an eighth-place finish. North had a single-game high of 242 in his third game to propel him up the leaderboards. North finished with a 1,062 total in the five-game series. Tommy Bain took 16th after rolling a 1,017. Bain had games of 246 and 233 in a strong day on the lanes. Nathan Roberts rolled a 960 to take 34th. Joey DeVita finished 54th, while Philip Albright, Joshua Schunemann, and Kejuan Matthews rounded out the Wolverine's day, finishing 88th, 91st and 97th.
Juanita Higgins took 20th place in the women's competition to have the best individual performance. Higgins rolled an 848 with a single-game high of 191 in her third game. Madison Shelton rolled an 831 to finish 28th on the day. Mackenzie Shelton took 49th with a 681.
