ROCHESTER Hills, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams wrapped up competition at the Warrior Classic, hosted by Rochester Christian University, on Saturday (Nov. 23). The men's team placed 5th out of 12 teams, while the women's team placed 12th out of 13.
Tommy Bain stole the show in the men's competition as he took second overall. Bain knocked down 901 pins in his four-game series to give him a 225 average on the day. Bain rolled a 266 in game three to advance into the top three. Nathan Roberts was the next competitor, rolling a 720. Roberts had a single-game high of 217 in his first game. Avery North had rolled a 248 in his second game, while Joshua Schunemann and Connor Hagerman finished back-to-back with a 535 and 532, respectively. Joey DeVita rounded out the day, rolling a 503.
In the women's competition, Madison Shelton was the top finisher, rolling a 632. The rest of the Wolverines finished in a small group, as Juanita Higgins and Lilly Adams rolled a 466. Katrina McKay, Alexandra Dasuqi, and Mackenzie Shelton rolled 450, 442, and 438 to round out the day.
