Wolverine women finish 25th at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's cross country team competed in the Louisville Classic hosted by the University of Louisville Saturday at Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky.

The Wolverines put together a strong day, taking 25th in the 62 team field, filled with programs from all levels of the NCAA and NAIA.

Victoria Hebda led the Wolverines in 100th place with a time of 19:41.0.

Reigning Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Runner of the Week Mikayla Borg finished 124th in a time of 19:49.9, while Kylie Callison was 127th in 19:50.7. Julia Cercone and Riley Day were 220th and 231st, respectively out of 533 runners.

UM-Dearborn is off for three weeks before competing at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, a preview for the WHAC Championship Meet, Oct. 26 at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich.
