Wolverines finish fourth in WHAC Championships

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's cross country team competed at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference championships Friday at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Wolverines finished fourth as a team with 110 points led by Victoria Hebda with a 15th place finish. Aquinas College took the team championship with 34 points in the 5k race.

Hebda crossed the line with a time of 19:40.03, followed Chloe Jablonski in 18th place in a time of 19:53.93. Mary Bradshaw was 23rd in 19:53.93, while Mikayla Borg and Rebecca Bradsher finished 36th and 39th, respectively, with Bradsher being nominated to the Champions of Character team. 

UM-Dearborn will now wait to find out if members of the team will qualify for the NAIA National Championships in two weeks. Qualifiers will be announced next week.
