Men's Basketball Drops One to Rochester College

Rochester, MI - The men's basketball team dropped its season opener 56-34 to the Rochester College Warriors on Tuesday night. Shooting was the Wolverines downfall as the team shot 24% from the field for the game. The Michigan-Dearborn defense held Rochester to 41% from the field and caused 14 turnovers, but the Wolverines could not find enough ways to score in the season opener.

Junior Anthony Barley led the Wolverines with 8 points, while sophomore Brandon Cole had 9 rebounds to lead the team in that category. The men's basketball team will have time to rest and practice as their next game is not until November 7th when they take on Holy Cross College at the Purdue University Calumet Tip-Off Classic.
