WOLVERINES RALLY LATE FOR SENIOR NIGHT WIN

Khcheiche entered the game off the bench in the second half and took over on offense for the Wolverines, scoring two goals to help the Wolverines recover from a 1-0 deficit to take the contest 2-1. The win moves UM-Dearborn to 5-9 overall and 2-7 in the WHAC.

After a scoreless first half, the Warriors broke the ice with a breakaway goal in the 51st minute to take the lead.

Twenty minutes later, Khcheiche scored from in close to even the contest in the 72nd. Just 11 minutes later, Khcheiche put the Wolverines in front for good, controlling a ball played in over the top, sliding it past the Rochester goalkeeper for his team-high sixth goal of the season. Khcheiche has three second-half or overtime game-winning goals this season. 

Rochester outshot UM-Dearborn 12-9, while the Wolverines held the advantage in corner kicks, 7-3. UM-Dearborn goalkeeper Dylon DaSilva (JR/Canton, MI) made five saves in the win. 

Prior to kickoff, the University of Michigan-Dearborn honored three student-athletes in a Senior Night Ceremony. Ali Anani (SR/Dearborn Heights, MI), Brody Hall (SR/Corunna, MI) and Jeffrey Drzyzga (SR/Grosse Ile, MI) were each celebrated for their contributions to the program.

UM-Dearborn hosts Lourdes University in the final home game of the season at 3 pm Wednesday at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.
