SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team continued Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play, taking on conference leader Lawrence Tech Saturday in Southfield, Mich.

The Wolverines battled all game with the WHAC front runner, but a goal in the 32nd minute for the Blue Devils stood up as the game lone score to give Lawrence Tech the 1-0 victory. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 4-8 overall and 1-6 in the WHAC.
The Wolverine defense kept the visitors in the game all day, led by four saves from junior goalkeeper Dylon DaSilva (JR/Canton, MI). Joseph Georgic (JR/New Boston, MI) had the lone shot on goal for the Wolverines.
The game's only goal came off the foot of LTU's Ryan Resendes on a shot from just outside the 18-yard box 31:22 into the first half. LTU won the shot battle 12-3.
UM-Dearborn closes the 2017 regular season with three out of four at home, starting with an afternoon matchup with Madonna University (RV) at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.
