LIMA, Ohio - The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team continued Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action, traveling to Lima, Ohio to face reigning league champion, the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday.

The Wolverines held the Racers (RV) to one goal in the first half, but the home team found eight tallies after the break to take the contest 9-0. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 3-6 overall and 0-4 in the WHAC.
Joseph Georgic (JR/New Boston, MI) had a shot on net for the Wolverines, while goalkeeper Dylon DaSilva (JR/Canton, MI) made six saves before freshman Stephen Mezuk (FR/Warren, MI) took over in the final 22 minutes. Mezuk finished with three saves.
UNOH got two goals each from Jose Pizarro, Nick Doutch, and Pascal Debowiak. The Racers outshot the Wolverines 30-1.
UM-Dearborn looks to rebound against Siena Heights University in a WHAC contest at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich. The game will follow the UM-Dearborn women and SHU at noon.
