BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's lacrosse team returned action by taking on the Webber International Warriors from Babson Park, Fla. in a non-conference matchup at the Detroit Country Day Fieldhouse in Beverly Hills, Mich.

The Wolverines found themselves down five at the half and used the third quarter to cut the Warriors lead to two. However, Webber International would pull away scoring the game's final three goals and handing UM-Dearborn the 11-6 defeat.

The Wolverines were led by Nolan Kelley and Bryce Washington, both with two goals, while Mason Loudermilk and Joseph Atherall would both add a goal of their own.

The setback drops UM-Dearborn to 2-5 overall on the season.

Jay Rupnow took the loss in goal, making 13 saves in the game.

The Wolverines return to action by opening up WHAC conference play against the Aquinas College Saints at 5 pm Monday at the AQ Athletic Field in Grand Rapids, Mich.
