No. 10 Saints top Wolverines in WHAC matchup

BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's lacrosse team continued conference play against the No. 10 Aquinas College Saints in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday at the Detroit Country Day Fieldhouse.

Aquinas jumped out to an early lead and led throughout the game for a 22-7 win over the Wolverines. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 1-8 overall and 1-4 in the WHAC.

The Wolverines trailed 15-1 at the half as the Saints executed on offense throughout the first half.

Adam Ranck led the Wolverines with three goals, while Devon Callaghan added two. The Wolverines recorded 28 groundballs and were outshot 37-16.

Sam Klinsky recorded five goals and five assists for the Saints to lead the offense. Cam Rogers added four goals and six assists for Aquinas.

The Wolverines return to action at 5:30 pm Wednesday against No. 1 Madonna University in Livonia, Mich.
