Bowling Puts in Strong Day at Cornerstone Classic

GRANDVILLE, Mich.-- The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams finished a strong day at the Cornerstone Classic on Saturday (Oct. 16). The women's team took home fourth, and the men's team finished fifth. 

 

Carly Scanlon took home a top-5 finish as she five-game average of 184 with a high of 204. Scanlon finished fifth out of 110 participants. Amanda Williams put up an impressive 191 in her first game and finished with an average of 168.2, taking home 24th. Jessica Ludwick finished her day with an average of 156.2, with a high of 178 in her third game. Finally, Madison Shelton rolled a 156 in her second of four games to give her a final of 151.5 and 57th place. 

 

Nathan Roberts and Zachary Baum finished neck and neck on the men's side as they took home 19th and 20th, respectively. Roberts rolled a five-game average of 187, while Baum finished with a 186.6. Joseph Devita took home a top-25 finish as he rolled a 184.8 with an impressive high of 228. Kejuan Matthews placed 32nd after rolling a 176.2 over five games.
