DEARBORN, Mich.— The (No. 24) University of Michigan-Dearborn Men's Ice Hockey team returned to action this past Saturday night, closing out a WHAC weekend-series against the (No.16) Lawrence Tech Blue Devils.

The Blue Devils would rely on goals at the end of both the first and second periods, on their way to a 5-0 victory over the Wolverines.

After killing off an early five-minute major, the UM-Dearborn offense never really got things going as the LTU defense clogged up the middle the whole game.

Leading the way for the Blue Devils was John Horn with two goals, while Thimo Ey added three assists. Spencer Krul would earn the win and the shutout, steering aside all 25 Wolverine shots.

Kayden Pickles got the nod for UM-Dearborn, making 26 saves in the losing effort.

The Wolverines will return to action after the New Year, taking on Concordia University at 8 PM at the Arctic Edge in Canton, Mich.
