Women's Cross Country Receiving Votes for First Time in Program History

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's cross-country team was featured in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll. The Wolverines received 71 votes, finishing just outside of the top 25. However, this marks the first time in program history that the Wolverines finished with votes in the coach's poll. 

 

After finishing the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in 11th of 22 teams, the Wolverines skyrocketed in the poll. The Wolverines rank second amongst WHAC teams, trailing only Cornerstone, who ranks 21st in the nation. 

 

The Wolverines will have one more week of training before they face their toughest competition yet at the WHAC Championships on Saturday (Nov. 4) in Grand Rapids, Mich.
