DEARBORN, Mich. – For the first time in her career, University of Michigan-Dearborn softball sophomore Erin McCune earned a weekly conference award, it was announced Monday.

The Rockwood, Mich., native led the Wolverines to their first win of the team's trip to Florida with a dominating performance in a win over Trinity International University on Saturday.

McCune tossed all seven innings for a complete game shutout, allowing just four hits, while striking out three. She added another win for the Wolverines on Monday over Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
