UM-Dearborn Mourns Tragic Loss of former student-athlete Arnold

The University of Michigan-Dearborn mourns the loss of former softball student-athlete Kabria Arnold, 21, who passed away Sunday evening in Detroit.

The UM-Dearborn Department of Athletics and the softball team are deeply saddened by the passing of Kabria and send their sympathy and thoughts to the entire Arnold family at this tragic time.

Kabria was a member of the UM-Dearborn softball team in the fall semester of 2018 after transferring to the program for her junior season. She was an athletic standout at Detroit Renaissance High School, where she was named team MVP and captain, while also competing in volleyball and cross country.

Please be sensitive with the use of social media at this time out of respect to Kabria and the Arnold family.
