LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Volleyball team, in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association, was one of 1,333 collegiate and high school volleyball teams to receive Team Academic Awards for the 2022-23 season. 

The award, which originated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. 

As a team, the Wolverines finished with a 3.347 GPA, ranking them fifth out of 16 teams in the Wolverine Athletic Department. 

The Wolverines kick off their season on August 17th in an exhibition match against Oakland Community College at 1 pm in the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
