Wolverines stall against Racers, 2-0.

LIMA, Ohio. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team returned to action Saturday afternoon, traveling to Lima, Ohio to take on the (RV) University of Northwestern Ohio Racers in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-up. 

After finding themselves down one early, the Wolverines saw the UNOH offense control the second and finding the insurance goal to secure the 2-0 win. Gustavo Moses opened the scoring for the Racers in the fifth minute with the assist going to Mortiz Guettel. The Wolverines looked to respond in the second half, however UNOH would add another goal in the 50th minute from Falk Jorch with Guettel getting his second assist of the game.

The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 3-10-1 overall and 2-5-1 in WHAC.

Evert Brace had another strong game in goal for the Wolverines, making six saves in the effort.

The Wolverines return to action against the Rochester University Warriors at 7pm Wednesday at Dearborn High School in Dearborn, Mich.
