Wolverines earn come-from-behind victory over Lourdes

SYLVANIA, Ohio- The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team returned to action traveling to take on the Lourdes University Gray Wolves in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup.

The Wolverines found themselves down one late and managed to claw back with two goals in the final 12 minutes to earn the come-from-behind, 2-1 win. 

The Gray Wolves opened the scoring in the 25th minute by Savio Adams with an assist going to Leon Eisert. UM-Dearborn would find the game-tying goal in the 78th minute when Jason Soltis found the back of the net off of a scramble in the box. The Wolverines would go on to find the game-clinching goal in the final minute of regulation. John Soltis got his head on an Austin Dukes throw-in to seal the victory for UM-Dearborn. The win improves the Wolverines record to 2-7-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the WHAC.

Everest Brace got the win in goal for UM-Dearborn, making five saves in the game. 

Lourdes University held the edge in shots, 14-9, while both teams had seven corner kick attempts. 

The Wolverines return to action against Siena Heights University at 7:30 pm Wednesday, October 6th at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.
