West Named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week

DEARBORN, Mich. – Brendan West was named the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The league announced on Monday (Oct. 9). Earns the first weekly honor after leading the Wolverines to two victories over Concordia (MI) over the weekend. 

 

West, a senior from Plymouth, Mich., begins the season on a strong note after earning the league's top honor last year as Player of the Year. West dished out one assist in the team's 3-0 victory over the Cardinals on Friday (Oct. 6) and led Saturday's game in points as he tallied two goals and two assists in an 8-5 thriller. 

 

Through four games, West leads the team in points with 15. 

 

Brendan West and the Wolverines take on Aquinas College on Friday (Oct. 13) at The Fieldhouse.
