The contest followed the first Senior Day for the women's soccer program since being elevated to varsity status. The senior class honored before kickoff included Dalianth Gomez-Llanos (SR/Lincoln Park, MI), Jessica Bacheldor (SR/Dearborn, MI), Rachel Leonard (SR/Romulus, MI) and Kathleen Rubenson (SR/Livonia, MI).
After taking an early lead, the Wolverines allowed four straight goals to fall to the Warriors 4-1. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 0-10 on the season and 0-8 in the WHAC.
Madison Day (SO/Canton, MI) scored her first goal as a Wolverines after receiving a pass from Nicole Losek(JR/Woodhaven, MI) inside the six-yard box. Day's shot rattled off the post and in to give the Wolverines a 1-0 advantage.
Rochester responded quickly with a pair of goals to close the first half from Cassidy Kowalski and Ashlin Taylor. Brenna Bianchi added a penalty kick goal for the Warriors early in the second half and Taylor later added her second of the day.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Jordan Anheuser (FR/Canton, MI) recorded four saves in the game.
UM-Dearborn closes the regular season with two road games next week. The first against Lourdes University at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Wildcat Stadium in Sylvania, Ohio.
