WOLVERINES DROPS WHAC CONTEST TO NO. 3 UNOH
RIVERVIEW, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team hosted the reigning NAIA national champion, the University of Northwestern Ohio, for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Tuesday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.

The Wolverines battled the No. 3 Racers, playing solid defense throughout. UNOH found the back of the net three times in the first half and went on for the 3-0 victory. The loss drops UM-Dearborn to 0-5-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the WHAC.
The Racers won the shot battle 30-0, as Wolverine goalkeeper Jordan Anheuser (FR/Canton, MI) made 10 saves to keep her team close. The redshirt freshman has made 48 saves in the Wolverines last three games.
UNOH got two goals and an assist from Evdokia Popadinova, while Camila Andersen added a goal. The Racers are 9-1-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the WHAC.
The Wolverines conclude a four-game homestand against Siena Heights University at noon Saturday at Gabriel Richard.
