Women's Cross Country with top GPA, 13 Wolverines perfect in 2019-20

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation is proud to announce that the Wolverine women's cross country program is the Top Team GPA Award winner for the 2019-20 academic year.

The women's cross country team won the award for the third time in program history and the first time since 2016 year with a combined 3.425 grade point average, while the Wolverines carried a 3.187 GPA across all programs.

Thirteen UM-Dearborn student-athletes finished with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the year, including Clayton Durst (Baseball), Max Tomaszewski (Baseball), Jared Lee (Men's Ice Hockey), Sean McLaren (Men's Ice Hockey), Hannah Martin (Women's Ice Hockey), Cameron Godin (Lacrosse), Jason Soltis (Men's Soccer), Jordan Anheuser (Women's Soccer), Kirsten Burek (Women's Soccer), Ryan Exell (Men's Cross Country), Riley Day (Women's Cross Country), Victoria Hebda (Women's Cross Country), and Spencer McCallum (Men's Bowling)

These honors had previously been awarded at the annual UM-Dearborn All-Sports Banquet. Due to the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, UM-Dearborn was unable to host the event in 2020.
