Women's Golf closes play at Blue Devil Invitational

GAYLORD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's golf team continued season one for the program at the Blue Devil Invitational hosted by Lawrence Tech Monday and Tuesday at TreeTops Resort in Gaylord, Mich.

The Wolverine women were 10th out of 11 teams. Lake Superior State University was the winner on the women's side.

UM-Dearborn shot a 775 over two days, improving by seven strokes in the second round. Adeline Lau led UM-Dearborn, finishing in a tie for 13th with an 84 in round one and a program-best 79 in round two for a two-round total of 163.

Sofia Cueva finished with a total score of 182 (90, 92), followed by Averey Potter with a 209 (104, 109) and Tessa LaBurn with a 221 (113, 108).

UM-Dearborn is set for its first WHAC Jamboree Friday and Saturday at Chemung Hills Golf Club in Howell, Mich.
