Wolverines Host First WHAC Jamboree

ALLEN PARK, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's and women's bowling team hosted the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree of the season Saturday at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Mich.

The event marked the first time the Wolverines hosted an event since joining the WHAC and NAIA last year.

The UM-Dearborn men finished eighth in the 13 team field with a total of 6,214 pins, while the women were 11th out of 13 with 4,494 pins.

The Wolverine men were led Mark Bilancetti with an average of 203.75 and a high game of 247 to place eighth on the individual leaderboard. Chevy Pawlik was 25th with a 183.5 average, while Stephen Strzalkowski was 48th with a 165.25.

Amanda Williams led the UM-Dearborn women with a 7th place finish and a 183 average, with a high game of 209. Jessica Ludwick was 21st with a 168 average, while Carly Scanlon and Danielle McBride were 43rd and 45th, respectively.

The Wolverines return to action at the Olivet Invitational on Nov. 3 in Charlotte, Mich.
