Women's Bowling Finishes 7th in WHAC Jamboree

Lansing, Mich. – The women's bowling team returned to action on Saturday for the third WHAC Jamboree of the season hosted by Cleary University at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing.  UM-Dearborn would start slow in the team games but progressively got better throughout the team games finishing the fourth game with an 892 which had them in sixth place heading into the Baker Games.  Jasmine Carroll led the Wolverines in the team games averaging a 186 and placing her 19th overall.  Right behind her was Madison Shelton who averaged a 176 which included a 220 in game three.  Jessica Ludwick and Amanda Williams rounded out the top-four bowlers for UM-Dearborn as they finished 28th and 38th respectively.

Once the Baker Games began, the Wolverines once again started out slowly with a 591 team score after the first set.  That proved to be their low score as they finished with games of 613, 637, and 616.  The 7th place finish is the women's bowling team's best finish in a WHAC Jamboree this season.  Lawrence Tech won the Jamboree with Indiana Tech finishing in second place.

The team is off until after the New Year when they travel to Cincinnati on January 21 for the Cincinnati Collegiate Classic.
