DEARBORN, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced the 2025 Softball All-Conference awards on Tuesday (Apr. 29). Freshman phenom Kendall Phillip highlighted the release, receiving Second Team All-Conference honors. Furthermore, nine Wolverines received WHAC All-Academic honors.
Phillip, a freshman from Tipton, Mich., was a catalyst at the top of the lineup for the Wolverines this season. Phillip led the Wolverines in hits (37), doubles (5), average (.435), on-base percentage (.484) and runs scored (25). Phillips also finished seventh in the conference in batting average. Francesca Badalamenti earned a spot on the WHAC Champions of Character team, an award given to a member of each team who embodies the five core character values that the NAIA embraces.
The WHAC announced its All-Academic teams, which include sophomores or above in Academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.25. The nine Wolverines honored were Francesca Badalamenti, Katrina Caldwell, Emmalyn Coon, Kendyl Gearhart, Hannah Koch, Mia Nightingale, Olivia Scott, Sydni Uhlenberg and Onyckah Ulik.
