The softball team will finish its regular season on Saturday at Ladywood High School at 11:30am against Cornerstone University. The team will say farewell to seven seniors - Valerie Bertani (SR/Westland, MI), Abby Jewell (SR/Livonia, MI), Nicole Payne (SR/Canton, MI), Alexis Powell (SR/Canton, MI), Maria Rodriguez (SR/Dearborn Heights, MI), Makenzie Trowbridge (SR/Trenton, MI), and Samantha Zarins (SR/Shelby Township, MI). The softball team will look to solidify their hold on third place in the WHAC. With a sweep, the Wolverines will head into the WHAC Tournament as the third seed.

On Friday, Michigan-Dearborn split the doubleheader against Concordia. In game one, Concordia came out swinging and took an early 9-0 lead en route to a 10-0 win in five innings. In game two, it was the exact opposite of game one. The Wolverines jumped out on top 8-0 and went on to win 12-4 in five innings.
