Softball Looks to Rebound Against Indiana Tech

The softball team will look to rebound after dropping two games to Davenport University on Sunday. Those losses dropped the Wolverines to third place in the WHAC with three conference series left. On Wednesday, Michigan-Dearborn hosts Indiana Tech at 4:00pm at Madonna University. Indiana Tech comes in at 4-12 in the WHAC and currently holds the final postion for the WHAC tournament which begins on Wednesday, May 4th, at Pacesetter Park in Sylvania, Ohio.

Michigan-Dearborn is led offensively by Taylor Moceri (JR/Sterling Heights, MI) who is batting .449 on the season and has 15 stolen bases. Gina Verduzco (SO/Portage, MI) has also had an outstanding season. Verduzco is batting .370 with 25 RBIs and is 12-4 with a 3.66 ERA. Jordan Ewald (SO/Wixom, MI) leads the team in homeruns (4) and RBIs (36). After playing Indiana Tech, the softball team will play at Concordia on Friday and then finish the season at home Saturday against Cornerstone.
