Wolverines Wrap-Up Day One at WHAC Championships

AUGUSTA, Mich. – The University of Michigan- Dearborn men's golf team took on the first day of the WHAC Championship in Augusta, Michigan today (April 21st).

 

The team placed ninth overall out of 12 teams with a total of 614 shots and +24 par. Leading the maize and blue were Brandon Tirador (+3) and Nick Metaxas (+6), who tied in 17th place with a total of 151 total strokes.

 

Mahmoud Saad tied for 26th sitting four over par, and shooting a 153 on the day.

 

Ryan Gniewek placed 42nd with a total of 161  (+11).

 

Brenden Pultorak came in 54th, shooting +22 over par, with a 170-stroke total.

 

The team takes on the second day of the WHAC tournament tomorrow (April 22nd).
