Coach Domenic Policicchio III enters his third season with the Wolverines.

Coach Policicchio's focus is to continue building and developing a culture that embodies Discipline, Integrity, and Gratitude - the three core pillars of our program, which the team calls DIG Deep. Coach Policicchio often says: "My goal is simple. I want to ensure that every one of my student-athletes graduates with their degree, and are able to contribute to society the moment they move on from my program - That to me is success!"

The notable success of Policicchio's Student First culture is the team GPA, which was above 3.1, and Troy Campbell was nominated to the Academic All-District Team. Under Policicchio's tenure, eleven student-athletes from the Men's team were awarded the WHAC Academic All-Team award. Two players were awarded the Champions of Character award, two ended their playing career with 1,000+ career points, and Jason Gigliotti received a Professional contract to play in Europe.

Policicchio is still undefeated in overtime with a come-from-behind triple OT win vs. 6th Ranked Lawrence Tech, and a double OT buzzer-beater win against Judson. In addition to building a team-first culture, Policicchio has scheduled three Division 1 NCAA games and six Division 2 NCAA games, making his schedule one of the toughest in the NAIA.

Policicchio has been a part of many basketball programs over the years, including the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA), Catholic High School League (CHSL), and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) program. In addition, coach Policicchio was an assistant coach at Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory High School. The Eaglets of St. Mary's began the season ranked #1 team in the state and #17 in the country by USA Today and Basketball Prep. He assisted in leading St. Mary's to a 14-1 record, Catholic High School League co-divisional championship, District Championship, Regional Championship, and the first Quarterfinal appearance for the team since 2012.

Before coaching at Orchard Lake St. Mary's, Policicchio helped lead the 2016 Ladywood Blazers to their first district championship since 2012. He helped the program to an overall mark of 18-23, overcoming a 1-24 record just one year before joining the coaching staff. Before beginning his coaching career, Policicchio graduated from Dearborn Divine Child. Domenic played basketball for Schoolcraft College. He earned his Associate of Business Administration degree and was on the Dean's List. Following his stint at Schoolcraft, he transferred to Walsh College. There, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management. Policicchio has strong business acumen and works in Big Tech. In addition to his day job, Policicchio gives back to the community by sitting on various state and local boards and volunteering at his church. Policicchio resides in Westland with his golden retriever dog, Mozzie.
