DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn softball team is set to host the team's inaugural Home Run Derby fundraiser.
The event is scheduled for 1:30 pm Saturday, Sept, 15 at Papp Park in Taylor, Mich., located at 9350 Westlake Street, Taylor, MI 48180.
The event will include UM-Dearborn softball players and coaches participating in a home run hitting contest, with spectators able to purchase a sponsored ball for $10. Prizes will be awarded for the farthest sponsored balls hit.
