WOLVERINES COMPETE AT ANNUAL SPARTAN INVITE

NOTE: No team scores have been reported and the individual results were not available until Sunday after technical issues at the race. 

Victoria Hebda continued her strong freshman season, competing against some of the top NAIA schools in the area, as well as several NCAA Division I programs. Hebda crossed the line in 73rd in a time of 24:08.0 in the 6K race.

Senior Megan Seccombe was 152nd in a time of 25:58.0, while freshman Julia Cercone was 211th in 27:42.2. Freshman Camryn Zurawski was 222nd and Kayla Dela Cruz was 230th.

On the men's side, Joshua Mussen continued to lead the Wolverines. The freshman was 154th in a time of 28:27.7, while fellow freshman Joshua Williams was close behind in 169th with a time of 28:41.9. Sean Nowak (SR/Trenton, MI) was 208th in 29:22.6, while Andrew Kohn(SO/Dearborn, MI) was 230th and Henry Roberston crossed in 245th, followed closely by Sean Fisher (SO/Lansing, MI) in 248th. 

The Wolverines leave the state of Michigan for the first time in 2017, heading to the University of Louisville for the Greater Louisville Classic Sept. 30 in Louisville, Ky.
